Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September or earlier
Location: Torton, Kidderminster
Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30
Hours: 40 per week, term-time only
Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN, following the lead of classroom teachers and SEN coordinators.
  • Aid in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct small group and one-to-one sessions.
  • Monitor and document student progress for assessments.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with educational and therapeutic staff to boost student learning and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or related.
  • Experience in an SEN setting.
  • Understanding of diverse SEN conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and school ethos.
  • Creativity in educational support.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
